More often than not, fall time checkups are overlooked or forgotten about. There are (primarily) two types of heating systems used in the North Texas area. The most common type in the urban area is gas heat. The other type of heating equipment is electric heat. This can utilize a heat pump, electric heat strips, or the two of them working together.
Gas heat has flames burning inside your house and for safety reasons a yearly basic checkup is prudent. With the checkup all portions of your heating system will be tested and cleaned so that your system will run efficiently for the upcoming winter season.
Electric heat and heat pumps have no flames, which drastically reduce safety concerns, but these systems have a much larger utility consumption rate. Proper function of all components will help minimize your electric bills and keep your equipment running at full capacity.
With both types of equipment, routine maintenance is the best way to have your equipment function at peak performance levels and maximize your utility dollars spent. Have us come out to check your equipment and keep your home safe and comfortable!

Bryant has been around since 1904. Charles Bryant is the developer of the modern day furnace and offered 80% efficiency on their furnaces in 1919. They partnered with Payne in 1949 and in the mid 1950s were bought by Carrier. In the 1980s Bryant was one of the first pioneers of the 90% furnace. That is part of why Prosper's Finest A/C and Heat is proud to be a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer!
Brrrrrr...Did your furnace turn on today? Here is a new Bryant furnace install that we did recently

Town of Prosper Christmas Festival 2015
We have such a great time every year meeting the people from the Town of Prosper and other nearby communities. We couldn't ask to live and work in a better part of Texas!
The old heat pump in the top left had a compressor with locked rotors. Replacements left a brand new heat pump system that will provide cheaper electric bills and years of worry free function.
The old condenser on the top was leaking refrigerant. The top right picture shows the leaking condenser coil. The bottom pictures show the newly installed Bryant condenser that came with the standard 10 year warranty. Anther happy customer!
This is what will be bringing you the quality HVAC service you expect to have.
Another happy customer got an upgrade to his system from 10 S.E.E.R. equipment to 16. Almost double the efficiency rating. He will be happy with years of savings to come. This new evaporator coil and condenser also came with 10 years of factory backed warranty.
New HVAC system
The top row shows the old failing equipment. All of the other pictures show the newly installed Bryant system with bells and whistles. Of course it also came with a 10 year factory backed warranty.

Fall Checkups are always important
This is an electric furnace that had a leaking evaporator coil. Old age and confirmed leaks helped determine that replacement was needed.
New Air Cleaner
A newly installed whole home air cleaner leaves another happy customer with fresh air.
New system install
This is another 16 SEER system installed for a happy customer
New Evaporator Coil
A new slab evaporator coil installed as part of the 16 SEER system.
Dirty Evaporator Coil
This coil had not been looked at for more than a decade. It is filthy, causing a loss in capacity, more strain on the fan motor, and it is just a little gross... see next pic for the clean coil
The Cleaned Evaporator Coil
This is the same coil from before after a brush and chemical cleaning. Now it makes heat transfers properly, lets the fan motor breathe, and all of the particulate has been removed and will not be blown through the house. Breathe Easy!
A newly installed condenser for yet another happy, cool customer.
This is a new evaporator coil that was installed to replace one that was leaking. It is all aluminum and comes with a 10 year warranty.
This was a very dirty evaporator coil that was cleaned. Having a clean coil is SO important to both proper function of a system and the effective capacity while it operates. Once cleaned, this system ran like a champ.
Here is a new 5 ton Bryant condenser that was installed. It replaced a Goodman unit that busted leaks after only 6 years. This new Bryant unit has a 10 year warranty from such defects. It is also more quiet and energy efficient. This work makes another very happy customer!
